PhD candidate at Center for Canadian, US and Latin American Studies, School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. UGC Senior Research Fellow in Political Science (2017). Currently analyzing socio-political mobility within transnational communities using the case study of Japan-Brazil migration and its socio-economic and political impacts on the nipo-brasileiro community. Completed M.Phil dissertation titled Transnational factors behind migrant identity: the case of nipo-brasileiros. (2014-16). Completed M.A in International Relations at JNU (2012-14). Graduated in BA (Hons.) Journalism from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University. Presented and published papers on Latin American issues, transnationalism and diaspora.
