Faisal Mahmood is currently working as a Ph.D. research scholar under the Department of Political Science at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has completed his M.A. in Human Rights and B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University. Currently, he is a UGC Senior Research Fellow and writing his Ph.D. thesis on “Development, Displacement and Human Rights in India: A Critical Study.” His current area of research centers on the problem of displacement caused by development projects. His research interests include Human Rights, Internal displacement, Development Studies, Minority Rights, etc. He has also participated in various national and regional Conferences.
