Abhishek Yadav is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for South Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Presently, he is a Senior Research Fellow in Political Science after clearing NET-JRF in the year 2016 under the University Grants Commission of India. Abhishek was a Visiting Fellow in International Relations at the Institute of South Asian Studies, Sichuan University, China from September 2017 to January 2018. He has completed M.Phil. in South Asian Studies from Centre of South Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (2015-2017). He holds a Master degree in International Relations from JNU (2013-2015). He had completed his graduation from Hindu College, University of Delhi (2010-2013). He is a core member of the Global Research Forum on Diaspora and Transnationalism (GRFDT), New Delhi based global academic and policy think tank. Abhishek has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has various publications to his credit.
