Dr Akhil Alha is with Council for Social Development. New Delhi since June 2014. He completed M.Phil and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His areas of research are labour market dynamics, agrarian crisis and transformations in agrarian relations, Political economy of development, and caste-based discrimination and inequities. Over the years, he has published a number of research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has also written a couple of pieces for popular press.
